Octobank was recognized as the “Best Digital Bank” and “Best Bank for Treasury Operations in Uzbekistan” by the Global Banking & Finance Awards 2026.

Today, Octobank serves over 3.6 million clients, and its international infrastructure covers key financial centers in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

JSC Octobank became a laureate of the prestigious Global Banking & Finance Awards 2026 , becoming one of the few banks in the region to receive international recognition in two strategic areas of banking activity at once.

Following the award, the bank became the winner in the following nominations:

• Best Digital Bank Uzbekistan 2026 — “Best Digital Bank of Uzbekistan 2026”;

• Best Bank for Treasury Activities Uzbekistan 2026 — “Best Bank of Uzbekistan for Treasury Operations 2026”.

The Best Digital Bank Uzbekistan 2026 award recognizes the bank's efforts to develop digital financial services and expand international opportunities for clients.

One of the key areas was the development of cross-border payment services for Uzbek citizens working, studying, and doing business abroad. In 2025–2026, Octobank launched direct transfers to Uzbekistan through Kaspi.kz, Kazakhstan's largest fintech app, and the South Korean payment platform E9pay, making international transfers faster, more convenient, and more accessible.

At the same time, the bank continued to develop the Octo-Mobile digital platform. Users now have access to investment opportunities through the JETT platform, international payment services based on Alipay+ , and the innovative MyID Palm biometric payment technology. Octobank's client base now exceeds 3.6 million .

The second award—Best Bank for Treasury Activities Uzbekistan 2026—highlights the bank's achievements in developing its treasury infrastructure. In recent years, Octobank has expanded its correspondent network and created a system for working with treasury instruments on the Money Market, FX Market, Interbank Deposit Market, Derivatives Market, and Custody Market, providing clients with direct access to the financial markets of North America, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and ASEAN countries through the Bloomberg and Refinitiv platforms.

The bank is also developing new areas of international cooperation, including India, Singapore, South Korea, and the United States. The expansion of the correspondent network allows for faster international settlements, reduced transaction costs, and the creation of additional opportunities for clients engaged in international economic activity.

"We are grateful to the international expert community for their high recognition of Octobank achievements. Receiving two Global Banking & Finance Awards simultaneously confirms the effectiveness of our strategy, which is based on the development of modern digital services and international financial infrastructure.

"We will continue to expand international partnerships, invest in technology, and create new opportunities for clients and businesses both in Uzbekistan and abroad," noted Octobank Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Sardor Shavkiev.

The Global Banking & Finance Awards was established in 2011 and recognizes innovation and achievements in the global financial community. Participants are recognized for significant achievements in developing innovative practices and approaches.
